Why we test every voice flow first in Spanish

Spanish utterances tend to run 15, 25% longer than their English equivalents, with more emotional framing around the same factual content. Designing voice flows for English first systematically produces UIs that feel terse in Spanish.

We invert the order. Every parse-X flow is prototyped in Spanish first, with bilingual clinicians as the first test users. Once the Spanish flow feels calm and unhurried, we trim to English.

The result: an English experience that feels equally calm, because it inherited Spanish's patience.
